Custom Furniture Policy
All furniture pieces created by craftttscentur are custom-made to your exact specifications. Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of our products, returns are generally not accepted except under specific circumstances outlined in this policy and as required by applicable United States federal and state consumer protection laws.
Important Notice: This Return Policy is designed to comply with applicable consumer protection laws in the United States, including federal laws and state-specific regulations. Your rights under applicable state laws are not waived by this policy. If any provision of this policy conflicts with applicable law, that law shall govern.
Manufacturing Defects
We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. If you receive a furniture piece with a manufacturing defect, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion. Manufacturing defects include:
- Structural flaws affecting functionality or safety
- Finish defects not matching approved specifications
- Material defects that compromise durability
- Assembly errors that prevent proper use
Defects must be reported within 30 days of delivery. We may request photos or arrange an inspection to verify the issue.
Non-Defect Returns
Given the custom nature of our furniture, we cannot accept returns due to:
- Change of mind or preference after approval
- Size or dimension issues after client approval of specifications
- Color or finish preferences that differ from approved samples
- Space constraints discovered after ordering
We work closely with clients during the design phase to ensure satisfaction and prevent such situations.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order at any time before production begins and receive a full refund of any deposits paid, minus any non-refundable design consultation fees that were clearly disclosed to you at the time of order placement. Cancellation must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to our customer service team.
Once production has commenced, cancellation may result in a partial refund based on work completed and materials ordered at the time of cancellation. Specific cancellation terms will be detailed in your written order agreement, which you must approve before production begins.
Cooling-Off Period: In accordance with applicable state laws, you may have a cooling-off period (typically 3-7 days depending on your state) after signing the order agreement to cancel without penalty, provided production has not yet begun. Please contact us immediately if you wish to exercise this right.
Delivery Issues
If furniture arrives damaged during shipping:
- Inspect items immediately upon delivery
- Note any damage on the delivery documentation
- Contact us within 48 hours with photos and description
- We will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate
Repair Services
We offer repair services for furniture pieces that develop issues due to normal wear or accidental damage. Repair costs will be quoted based on the specific issue. Warranty repairs for manufacturing defects are provided at no charge within the warranty period.
Refund Process
If a refund is approved in accordance with this policy:
- Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days of approval. In some cases, it may take up to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
- Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a manufacturing defect. Return shipping costs for custom items may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Partial Refunds: For partially completed orders or items with minor defects that can be repaired, we may offer a partial refund in lieu of full return, subject to your approval.
- Restocking Fees: Custom-made items generally do not incur restocking fees. However, if you cancel an order after materials have been specially ordered or work has commenced, reasonable cancellation fees may apply as specified in your order agreement.
State-Specific Rights: Residents of certain states may have additional rights under state consumer protection laws. We will comply with all applicable state laws regarding refunds and returns. Please contact us if you have questions about your state-specific rights.
Warranty Coverage
Our furniture comes with a warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty terms vary by item and will be specified in your order agreement. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or accidents, or modifications made after delivery.
